SSU Women's Center donates to Mobile Health Unit

Eric Braun, executive director of Shawnee State University's Development Foundation, left, receives a check for $882.70 for the Mobile Health Unit from Ann Linden, center, director of the Women's Center, and Mistie Spicer, right, coordinator of Community Relations, from the sale of clothing at My Sister's Closet, an annual fundraising event. SSU faculty, staff and students donate clothing each year to raise money for projects through the Women's Center. The Mobile Health Unit is a mobile medical facility with two exam rooms, video equipment, and two staff nurse practitioners. It serves five counties including Carter and Greenup counties in Kentucky, and Adams, Lawrence and Scioto counties in Ohio.
