Matthews Keynote Speaker at Veteran's Day Ceremonies at SSU

Shawnee State University held a Veteran's Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 10 on the University Center North Lawn with Lt. Col. Scott Evans, retired U.S. Army Reserves was master of ceremonies. Dr. Jim Kadel, Dean of the College of Professional Studies at SSU presented the welcome and introduction of the keynote speaker Chief Master Sergeant Matt Matthews, retired from the U.S. Air Force, and coordinator of Multicultural Affairs at SSU. Colors were presented by American Legion Post 363. Mariah Minter Ginn sang the "National Anthem" and "America the Beautiful."
