Money from clothing sales donated to Mobile Health Care Unit at SSU

The Women's Center at Shawnee State University opened My Sister's Closet Boutique in October to raise money from the sale of clothing, an annual fundraising event. SSU faculty, staff and students donate clothing each year to raise money for projects through the Women's Center. The project raised more than $851. The Mobile Health Unit is a mobile medical facility with two exam rooms, video equipment, and two staff nurse practitioners. It serves five counties including Carter and Greenup counties in Kentucky, and Adams, Lawrence and Scioto counties in Ohio. SSU's own health science students contribute to the unit.
