The Dr. Miller and Genevieve Toombs Children's Learning Center at Shawnee State University is participating in the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon program to teach children about riding and toy-safety rules. A track was laid out in front of the CLC where children ride tricycles and scooters. Maggie Burke, daughter of Michael and Leann, of McDermott, rides a tricycle in the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon. The CLC has donated more than $10,000 to St. Jude's over the years. St. Jude's mission is to find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
