Chinese exchange students on panel at Teaching and Learning Conference

            Five Chinese exchange students at Shawnee State University participated in the 18th Annual Teaching and Learning Conference at the Ashland (Ky.) Community and Technical College. They were on a panel sharing observations on the role of reading in China’s K-12 education system and at the college level. The theme of the conference was “Reading for College, Reading for Life.” Students who attended the conference, from left, are Tao “Peach” Wu, Min “Minna” Lin, Hui “Clare” Zhang, Zi “Panda” Yuan, SSU faculty leader Xiaodan Huang and Wanhua “Willow” Xie.
