Contact: Workshop for Water and Wastewater Personnel Offered at Shawnee State UniversityShawnee State University will be hosting a workshop for Water and Wastewater Personnel on Industrial Motor Controls on Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course will be taught by Associate Professor Ken Warfield who currently teaches Electromechanical Engineering Technology at SSU. Participants will connect variable frequency drives, do basic programming and operation of variable frequency drives, install motors starting and reversing systems, calculate fuse and heater size requirements for industrial motors and troubleshoot industrial motor controls. The course fee is $100.
