The Ira and Flora Diddle Scholarship awarded
to Larry Boldman Jr. at Shawnee State University
The Shawnee State University Scholarship Committee awarded
Larry Boldman Jr. the Ira and Flora Diddle Scholarship of
$200.
Applicants of this scholarship must have filed an
application for admission to a degree program. They must be
able to submit a high school transcript or G.E.D. score or
college transcripts if applicable.
Recipient Larry Boldman Jr., of Portsmouth, Ohio, in Scioto
County, came to SSU after obtaining is G.E.D and is a
returning SSU student. He is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma
and the SSU Pre-Med Club. Boldman also was named on the
President’s List for fall semester 2008. He is pursuing a
degree in Pre-med and plans to become a family physician.
The funds of this scholarship are administered by the SSU
Development Foundation. Individuals or organizations
