for Aged Women Scholarship awarded to Callie O’Neil at
Shawnee State University
The Shawnee State University Scholarship Committee awarded
Callie O’Neil the 2009-10 Home for Aged Women Scholarship of
$200.
Applicants of this scholarship must have filed an
application for admission to a degree program. They must be
able to submit a high school transcript or G.E.D. score or
college transcripts if applicable. They must demonstrate
financial need and have completed the FAFSA.
Recipient Callie O’Neil, daughter of Mike and Eve O’Neil, of
Lancaster, Ohio, in Fairfield County, is a 2009 graduate of
Bloom Carroll High School. In high school she was a member
of National Honors Society, Prom Committee, Science Club, a
nursing home volunteer, and she was a varsity cheerleader,
along with other organizations. She plans to become a nurse.
The funds of this scholarship are administered by the SSU
Development Foundation. Individuals or organizations
