Scholarship at Shawnee State University awarded to Kaitlyn
Howell
The Shawnee State University Scholarship Committee awarded
Kaitlyn Howell the 2009-10 Home for Aged Women Scholarship
of $200.
Recipient, Kaitlyn Howell, daughter of Kevin and Becky
Howell, of Thornville, Ohio, in Perry County, is a 2007
graduate of Sheridan High School and a returning SSU
student. In high school she was a member of Art Club,
Student Council, and the volleyball and softball teams.
Howell is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and plans to
get a bachelor’s degree and work in a private office or in
public service.
The funds of this scholarship are administered by the SSU
Development Foundation. Individuals or organizations
interested in establishing a scholarship can call the SSU
