The Home for Aged Women Scholarship awarded to Courtney
Esz at Shawnee State University
The Shawnee State University Scholarship Committee awarded
Courtney Esz the 2009-10 Home for Aged Women Scholarship of
$200.
Applicants of this scholarship must have filed an
application for admission to a degree program. They must be
able to submit a high school transcript or G.E.D. score or
college transcripts if applicable. They must demonstrate
financial need and have completed the FAFSA.
Recipient Courtney Esz, daughter of Frances Ogden, is a 2009
graduate of Western Brown High School in Brown County. In
high school she was a member of the National Honor Society,
student council, soccer and softball teams. She is pursuing
a degree in nursing. Esz is interested in becoming an RN and
would like to work at a hospital. The funds of this
scholarship are administered by the SSU Development
Foundation. Individuals or organizations interested in
