SSU offers seven courses in the Supervisory Certification Program

Engaging and interactive organizational skills are essential for any group to achieve success. Effective leadership and inspiring others to act are key elements for organizations to reach their full potential.

Shawnee State University will be hosting a seven-course series in the Supervisory Certification Program on Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m., starting Oct. 4 at the OSU South Centers' Endeavor Center at 1864 Shyville Road in Piketon, Ohio.

Tamela Moore will present the program offering a variety of topics aimed at helping people identify, understand, and work with different personalities, and strive to be strong leaders and communicators.

The classes for this seven-part series are:

  • Oct. 4 – Essentials of Leadership;
  • Oct. 11 – Understanding and Maximizing Employee Strengths;
  • Oct. 18 – Resolving Conflict;
  • Oct. 25 – Leading High Performance Teams;
  • Nov. 1 – Delegating for Results;
  • Nov. 8 – Understanding Harassment in the Workplace; and
  • Nov. 15 – Essentials of Personnel Law.

The price for the Supervisory Certification program is $629 which includes all seven courses and text workbooks for each session. Individual course registration is also available for $129 per course.
