SSU President surprised at Gala gift in honor of her birthday

More than $30,000 was raised at the annual President's Gala in support of The Shawnee Fund and facilities enhancements. An additional $5,250 was raised from Gala attendees and the University President's Club for scholarships in the name of Dr. Rita Rice Morris, holding a copy of the check in the photo, in honor of her 65th birthday and her commitment to continuing to serve SSU as its president.
