Shawnee State University is the site of Wet-on-Wet Oil Painting courses on Tuesdays from May 10 through June 28.
Two courses will be offered. The first course is for beginners from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday. The second course is for experienced painters from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Both courses will take place in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts, Room 303.
Beginner participants will need the Bob Ross basic kit, a linear brush, a No. 6 fan brush, black oil paint, a palette or palette sheets, paint thinner and an empty container with a lid.
Experienced participants will need a full range of Bob Ross paints (13 tubes), a Bob Ross knife, one-inch and two-inch Bob Ross brushes, three-inch and six-inch fan brushes, a liner brush and a filbert brush.
