Local Author Celebrates Release of 10th Harlequin Novel
Undercover travel writer Alexandra Tulane wonders if maybe
she’s in way over her head. A man’s hunting and fishing
retreat in the wilds of Alaska? Not exactly her stylish
scene. Fortunately, there’s plenty of breathtaking scenery,
including good-looking bush pilot Dylan Bower. And so the
next Kay Stockham novel is born – “She’s the One.”
Romance
author and Scioto County resident Stockham is celebrating
the release of her tenth novel, “She’s the One” on March 16.
It is the fifth and final book in her “Tulanes of Tennessee”
series with Harlequin Superromance.
“She’s the
One” received a four-star rating from “Romantic Times” Book
Reviews. All five books in the Tulanes series received
ratings of four or higher and two received “Romantic Times”
Top Pick awards. Reviewers have called the series
“spectacular,” “fresh and unique” and “absolutely
brilliant.”
“She’s the
One” tells the story of Alexandra Tulane, an undercover
travel writer/reviewer who journeys to Alaska for a job
assignment and discovers a mystery surrounding bush pilot
Dylan Bower. Bower has secrets he’s hiding, a traumatized
son he’s protecting, and Alexandra can’t help but dig for
answers as to why. Revealing the truth, however, leaves both
of them reeling. Now Dylan not only has to overcome his
past, he has to repair the damage done to their relationship
and convince the woman he loves that she’s the one for him
and his six-year-old son.
Stockham will
be signing copies of “She’s the One” at the Shawnee State
University Bookstore located in the University Center on
Thursday, March 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. The book signing is open
to the public and it is sponsored by the SSU Alumni
Association. Stockham is a Shawnee State University
graduate. For more information on Stockham’s books, articles
and reviews, visit her Web site at
