Comedian/Dancer Xclusive
to perform at SSU

February 19, 2013

On Thursday, Feb. 28, dance-based comedian Kenneth "Xclusive" Paryo will perform at 8 p.m. in Shawnee State University's University Center, Room 230.

At age 13, Paryo saw a performer use a dance routine to make the audience laugh. Inspired, Paryo practiced dance for the next four years, perfecting freestyle moves and performing at competitions, high schools, and church youth events. Later, he would appear on Season 3 of "America's Got Talent" as a featured contestant. He opened for Trey Songz at Georgia State University, and now performs at MLB and NBA games nationally.

Xclusive's technique centers around dub-step and popping dance moves to the rhythm of self-mixed music tracks. In addition, he infuses each routine with original comedy.

The SSU Dance Crew and Hip Hop Dance Club will also hold special performances during the event. The performance is sponsored by SSU Student Activities and Cross-Cultural Inclusion and co-sponsored by the Student Government Association.

The show is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Coordinator of Student Activities and Cross-Cultural Inclusion Carla Daniels at 740-351-3553 or e-mail cdaniels@shawnee.edu.
