The Shawnee State University Office of Counseling and Psychological Services is offering students a "Spring Break Survival Day" on Wednesday, Feb. 29 and giving away 300 Spring Break Survival Kits.
Bags will be stuffed with items that will be useful during Spring Break donated by USEC, Pepsi, GNC, AAA, the Scioto County Health Department and U.S. Bank.
More donations are needed and SSU's Resident Life office will be giving away prizes during the day. Students in the Theater Department will be performing "Educational Theater" in Jazzman's with safety tips and skits to help students avoid assaults, and other helpful advice through the drama of the theater.
For more information or to donate items for the SSU Spring Survival Kits, call Alan Siebel at (740) 351-3848.
