Jones named Writer of Promise at Shawnee State University

The third annual Shawnee State University "Intro" Series Reading with the student Writer of Promise, Christina Jones, was presented Wednesday, Feb. 8, at SSU's Clark Memorial Library Alcove. Lori McNelly read from a selection of her writings and Neil Carpathios, assistant professor in the Department of English and Humanities, introduced Jones who read a selection of her fiction stories and poems. Carpathios presented Jones with a "Writer of Promise" plaque.
