Donna Charlene Essman Memorial Scholarship presented to SSU student

The Donna Charlene Essman Memorial Scholarship of $1,100 has been presented to Amy Ross, left, a student at Shawnee State University. George Allen Essman, Sr., husband of the late Donna Essman, met with Ross to congratulate her on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The Portsmouth West Class of '64 donated all the funds for the scholarship in memory of Donna, and the funds were administered by the Shawnee State Development Foundation.
