news directors, editors, producers, and reporters: Camp Diversity at Shawnee State University Camp Diversity at Shawnee State University (SSU)--A health challenges event especially for Girl Scouts is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 9 a.m. to noon in the gymnasium of the Rhodes Athletic Center on the campus of SSU. Co-chaired by Diane Boster, executive director, Arthritis Foundation; and Chris Raber, department of occupational therapy, SSU, the event will feature nearly 80 Girl Scouts participating in learning stations that will include activities to simulate physical and communication disabilities, a wheelchair obstacle course, oral hygiene, healthy snacks, and bicycle/pedestrian safety. The Kids on the Block puppets will present, “Kids Get Arthritis, Too.” The event contact person is Chris Raber.
