            The Shawnee State University (SSU) Choir will present its annual Christmas concert, "Sounds of the Season," at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 524 Sixth St., Portsmouth, and again at 7:30 p.m. at Evangelical United Church of Christ, 701 Fifth St., Portsmouth.

           Both concerts, under the direction of Shirley Evans Crothers, are free to the public with donations invited. Michael Barnhart, M.F.A., SSU senior instructor of music/sound, will be one the many talented artists featured.
