Actress portrayal of Rosa Parks coming
to Shawnee State University
(Run 2/14/03 through 2/19/03)

            Shawnee State University (SSU) presents Kimberly LaMarque, assistant professor of theater and director of forensics at Tennessee State University, in an original, self-written, one-woman play based on the life and times of Rosa Parks, including her ordeal of being arrested for not giving her seat to a white person and being placed in jail.

           This tribute will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Flohr Lecture Hall in the Clark Memorial Library at SSU. For more information call (740) 351-3553.
