Ohio Reptile Expert to Lecture at SSU
(Run Mar. 2, 2004 through Mar. 11, 2004)

            On Thursday, March 11, at 4 p.m., noted Ohio Reptile authority Doug Wynn will present a lecture at Shawnee State University (SSU) entitled, “Timber Rattlesnakes” in Kricker Hall, room 250.

            Wynn, who has studied snakes for over 40 years and has received more than 60 grants and contracts for studying reptiles, has also taught high school biology and ecology for 30 years.

            The lecture will focus on the Timber Rattlesnake, one of only 24 species of snakes in the state of Ohio, and one of its rarest.

            The lecture is free to the public.
