Best selling author Rachel Simmons second
SSU Leslie Williams Symposium speaker
(Run from 4/11/03 to 4/22/03)

New York Times best selling author, Vassar graduate, and Rhodes scholar Rachel Simmons will be at Shawnee State University at 7 p.m. in the SSU Clark Memorial Library’s Flohr Lecture Hall on Tuesday, April 22, to present “Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls.”

            Simmons speaks all over the country about female aggression and its implications. She has appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” and “Today,” “Dateline NBC.” Her work has also been profiled in numerous publications, including The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles Times.
