Activity Therapy Training program at SSU
(Run from 7/30 to 8/15)

           “Activities: Another Healing Profession, ” based on the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals established by the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals, will be offered at Shawnee State University (SSU) from Sept. 6 to Dec. 13, for those interested in training as an activity director or assistant in long-term care facilities. 

            Part one of “Activities: Another Healing Profession” is on Saturdays, Sept. 6 through Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Part two is on Saturdays, Nov. 1 through Dec. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $549. The registration deadline is Aug. 15.
