Shawnee State University’s (SSU) Office of University Outreach Services will present a 12-week course for Activity Therapy Training for individuals interested in completing the training required to provide activity programs in licensed long-term care facilities.

            The “90-Hour Basic Education Course for Activity Professionals,” open to individuals who possess a high school diploma or GED, will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays from Sept. 4 to Nov. 20.

            Cost is $549 per person. Deadline to register is Aug. 20.
