::  American Memory --access to primary source materials (print, image, sound) from the Library of Congress' national digital archive collections, recounting several centuries of American cultural history
::  Congressional Research Services -- integrated, searchable access to many of the full-text CRS reports that have been available on the web since 1990. The Congressional Research Service (CRS) serves as the public policy research arm of Congress, and works exclusively for Members, their committees and staff.
::  Faculty Resource -- Creative Commons a nonprofit organization, education site for lesson plans, course packets, etc.
::  Finding a Topic -- a list of controversial public policy topics.
::  Media Literacy -- links you to active media education sites around the world.

::  American Memory -- from the Library of Congress; a collection of digitized documents, photographs, recorded  sound, moving pictures and text.
::  Edsitement -- the National Endowment for the Humanities links to the best history, language arts and social sciences sites.  In addition to primary sources, there are online lesson plans and other digital learning materials.
::  SunSITE Digital Collections -- Links to digital text collections available on the web. Subject areas include history, literature, philosophy and music.

::  The CQ Researcher -- explores a single "hot" issue in the news in the depth each week. Topics range from social and teen issues to environment, health, education and science and technology. There are 44 reports produced each year.
::  Pro & Con (Congressional Digest Corp) -- Background information and arguments for and against controversial issues before the U.S. Congress and important cases before the Supreme Court.
::  Public Agenda -- Public agenda is a nonpartisan, nonprofit public opinion research and citizen education organization. A wide range of issues are addressed including competitiveness and the environment.
