Library Services
for patrons affiliated with OhioLINK Member Libraries
The
Shawnee State University Library is pleased to extend library
privileges to individuals affiliated with
OhioLINK
member libraries
when visiting the Clark Memorial Library. SSU items may be
borrowed upon presentation of current campus identification.
- All public citizens may use the
Clark Memorial library building, library resources, and a
selected number of the library public computers for research
purposes. Resources include books, magazines, journals,
newspapers, videos, reference materials, and government
documents.
- Access to electronic databases and
Microsoft OFFICE word processing and spreadsheet software is
also provided on designated stations. Full access to the WWW is
not available on these workstations.
- Remote access to the Library's
local catalog and web page and OhioLINK central catalog is
available.
- Remote access to OhioLINK
databases should be requested from the user's home institution.
- Copiers are available at a cost of
10 cents a copy; color copies are $1.00.
- Printouts from public computers
are 10˘ and available for pickup at the Circulation Counter .
- Librarians are available at the
reference/information counter to answer any questions about the
use of the library.

Borrowing
- Upon presentation of current
campus identification at the circulation counter local SSU
items may be checked-out.
- Books are checked out for 21 days.
Non-print items for 7 days.
- Only 1 renewal is allowed.
Renewals are requested through the patron's home Campus library
or View Patron record on the home campus library web page.
- Magazines, microfilm, media, and
reference books may be used in the Library.
