Clark Memorial Library is located north of Massie Hall and east of the Vern Riffe Center for the Fine Arts on the Shawnee State University Campus.

The Library provides hard copy and online books and periodicals; computers, printers, and photocopiers; a variety of study spaces; and a staff who will be glad to help you.

The Clark Memorial Library Website, also accessible using the URL library.shawnee.edu, provides catalogs, research databases, online reference resources, ejournals, ebooks, and online audio, video, and graphic resources. Most of the library's electronic resources can be used on- or off-campus.

Monday - Thursday	8:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Friday	8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday	10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday	12:00 Noon - 12:00 Midnight

Amenities
The Library offers a variety of seating and study areas: tables, study rooms with erasable white boards, library carrels, and casual seating. Near the vending machines on the lower level are tables that are ideal for eating meals.

Electronic Hardware
The library loans laptop computers that can be checked out at Circulation for use within the library. These computers -- or your personal laptop -- can access a wireless network anywhere in the building. Hard-wired computers, printers, scanners, and copiers are also available.

Browsing
Although we generally find specific resources by using the online catalog, we encourage you to browse in the library's collections. The collections in the stacks are organized by LC (Library of Congress) Classification. You can use our online guide to find the call number ranges in which particular subjects are located. The hard copy current periodicals are arranged alphabetically by the title of the publication.

Checking Out Materials
Your student ID is also your library card. You may check out as many items as you need both from our local Clark Memorial Library Collection and/or from other OhioLINK libraries. (For a quick overview of OhioLINK, watch this video: This Is OhioLINK: An Introductory Video.)

Borrowing from Other OhioLINK Libraries
Clark Memorial Library is a charter member of OhioLINK, a consortium of 86 college and university libraries, the Cuyahoga County Public Library, Westerville Public Library, and the State Library of Ohio. For a quick overview of OhioLINK, watch this video: This Is OhioLINK: An Introductory Video. The OhioLINK Catalog (which includes Clark Memorial Library holdings) and most of the SSU research databases can be accessed via the OhioLINK webpages. You can request virtually any of the 50 million items available in the OhioLINK system. Items will be delivered within three working days to the OhioLINK library of your choice.
