April 18 @ University of Virginia-Wise
The Shawnee State Tennis Team closed out the regular season with a 6-3 win at the University of Virginia-Wise to capture their first conference win of the season. Jamee Boyd took No. 1 singles in the tiebreaker. After losing the first set 7-6, she came back to win set two 6-0 and then won 10-4 in the tiebreaker. Kyra Keeton won No. 2 singles as UVA-Wise's Megan Buchanan retired. Ashley O'Neill defeated Rachel Juhan in No. 4 action by scored of 6-3 and 6-1, while Ashley Fischer won No. 5 singles 6-0 and 6-3.  Crystal Carpenter rounded out singles play winning 6-0 and 6-2.

The No. 3 doubles team of Angie Schmitt and Carpenter won 8-6. [Results]

 
April 16 @ Campbellsville
The Shawnee State Tennis Team lost to Campbellsville 7-1 in conference action.  SSU's Ashley Fischer won No. 5 singles 8-4 for the Bears only victory of the match.  Jamee Boyd lost No. 1 singles 8-1, while Kyra Keeton and Angie Schmitt were blanked 8-0 in singles No. 2 and 3. Ashley O'Neill fell 8-4. 

In doubles action, SSU's No. 1 of Boyd and Keeton lost 8-0.  No. 2 doubles team of O'Neill and Fischer fell 8-1, while No. 3 doubles team of Schmitt and Carpenter lost 8-0. [Results]

 
April 15 @ University of the Cumberlands
Shawnee State was blanked 6-0 by the University of the Cumberlands in conference action. No doubles were played. Kyra Keeton fell 8-3, while Ashley Fischer and Ashley O'Neill lost 8-2.  Crystal Carpenter was defeated 8-1, while Jamee Boyd and Angie Schmitt lost 8-0. [Results]
 
April14 @ Cedarville
The Shawnee State Bears lost 7-2 on the road to Cedarville University in non-conference action. Ashley Fischer took No. 5 singles by scores of 6-2 and 7-6, while Crystal Carpenter won No. 6 singles 6-1 and 7-5. Jamee Boyd and Kyra Keeton both lost 6-0, 6-0.  Angie Schmitt fell in No. 3 action 6-4, 6-1. Ashley O'Neill was defeated 6-1, 6-1 in No. 4 singles.

Shawnee State's No. 1 and No. 2 double teams of Boyd/Keeton and Fischer/O'Neill lost 8-2, while Carpenter/Schmitt lost 9-8 in No. 3 doubles. [Results]

 
April 13 vs. Central State
Shawnee State defeated Central State 6-3 in a non-conference match at home. Shawnee State took all the singles matches except for No. 1.  Kyra Keeton won No. 2 action in a tie break.  Keeton won 7-6 then fell 6-3 forcing a tiebreaker where she won 10-6. Ashley O'Neill took No. 3 singles 6-4, 6-0, while Ashley Fischer blanked her competition in No. 4 action 6-0, 6-0. O'Brien Robbins won No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-0 and Crystal Carpenter won by default.

Schmitt and Carpenter teamed up and won No. 2 doubles 8-3, while Boyd and O'Neill fell 8-4 in No. 1 doubles. [Results]

 
April 7 @ Georgetown
The Shawnee State Tennis Team fell 9-0 to Georgetown College in conference action.

In singles action, No. 1 Jamee Boyd and No. 2 Kyra Keeton were swept 6-0, 6-0, while No. 3 Angie Schmitt lost 64, 6-0.  No. 4 Ashley O'Neill fell to a score of 6-4, 6-0 and No. 5 Ahsley Fischer lost 6-3, 6-4.  Crystal Carpenter fell 7-6, 6-3 in No. 6 singles.

In doubles play, Boyd and Keeton teamed up and fell 8-0 in No. 1 play.  In doubles No. 2 action Fischer and O'Neill lost 8-0 and Schmitt and Carpenter fell 8-1. [Results]

 
March 27 vs. Lindsey Wilson
The Shawnee State Tennis Team fell to NAIA No. 16 ranked Lindsey Wilson 9-0 to open up conference action.  In singles action, sophomore Ashley Fischer fell in No. 5 action 6-3, 6-0 to Rocid Cardo.  Senior Jamee Boyd and freshman Kyra Keeton both were swept by scores of 6-0, 6-0, while sophomores Angie Schmitt, Ashley O'Neill and O'Brien Robbins both lost by scores of 6-1, 6-0.

In doubles action, No. 3 pair freshman Crystal Carpenter and Schmitt lost 8-3, while Boyd/Keeton fell 8-0 and Fischer/O'Neill fell 8-1. [Results]

 

March 17 vs. Springfield (IL)
The Shawnee State Tennis Team wrapped up their spring break trip falling just short, 5-4 to Springfield (IL). Sophomores Ashley O'Neill, Ashley Fischer and freshman Crystal Carpenter each won their singles match-up.  In No. 4 action, O'Neill defeated Heather Newman 7-5, 6-1 and in No. 5 action Fischer defeated Jessica Miller 6-3, 6-2. 

In doubles, Carpenter teamed up with sophomore Angie Schmitt and won by default.  [Results]

 
March 16 vs. Missouri Valley
The Shawnee State Tennis Team lost 8-1 to Missouri Valley.  Sophomore Ashley Fischer was the only Bear to get a victory as she defeated Jasmine Daniel 6-1, 6-2 in No. 6 singles play.

In doubles, freshman Kyra Keeton and senior Jamee Boyd lost 8-3 in No. 1 doubles, while sophomore Ashley Fischer and Ashley O'Neill lost 8-1 in No. 2.  In the No. 3 doubles match-up sophomore Angie Schmitt and freshman Crystal Carpenter lost 8-6. [Results]

 
March 15 vs. Greenville College
The Shawnee State Tennis Team picked up their first win of the season as they defeated Greenville College 7-2.  Senior Jamee Boyd won No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-3, while sophomore Angie Schmitt won No. 3 action 6-4, 6-3.  Sophomore Ashley O'Neill and Ashley Fischer won No. 4 and No. 6 action by scores of 7-5, 6-1 and 6-3, 6-0.

Freshman Kyra Keeton and Boyd paired up to take No. 1 and won 8-6.  The sophomore pair of Fischer and O'Neill won No. 2 doubles 8-3 and Schmitt and freshman Crystal Carpenter won No. 3 doubles 8-3. [Results]

 
March 14 vs. North Georgia College
The Shawnee State Tennis Team opened up their 2011 season and their spring break trip with a disappointing 9-0 loss to North Georgia College.  In singles action, senior Jamee Boyd and freshman Kyra Keeton each fell 6-0, 6-1. Sophomore Angie Schmitt fell 6-0, 6-0, while sophomore Ashley O'Neill lost 6-0, 6-2.  Sophomore Ashley Fischer and freshman Crystal Carpenter rounded out the singles losing 6-1, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-1. 

In doubles action, teams Keeton/Boyd and O'Neill/Fischer each lost 8-0, while Schmitt/Carpenter fell 8-2. [Results]
