April 13 @ Cedarville
The Bears lost their third consecutive match as they fell to Cedarville 9-0.  The pair of Ashley O'Neill/Ashley Fischer won the Bears only two games in doubles action.  In singles action, the Bears were swept top-to-bottom, Boyd (6-1, 6-0), Schmitt (6-0, 6-0), Taylor (6-1, 6-1), O'Neill (6-2, 6-1), Fischer (6-2, 6-2), and Robbins (6-0, 6-1). 
 
April 10 @ Walsh
Shawnee State lost to Walsh 9-0 in conference action.  Walsh remains undefeated in AMC action.  The pairs of Jamee Boyd/Angie Schmitt and Ashley Fischer/Ashley O'Neill lost their doubles match-up 8-1, while Sabrina Taylor/Stephanie Days lost 8-0.  In singles actions, the Bears were swept top-to-bottom, Boyd (6-1, 6-2), Days (6-0, 6-0), Schmitt (6-2, 6-0), Taylor withdrew, O'Neill (6-0, 6-1), and Fischer (6-1, 6-2).  
 
April 9 vs. Ohio Northern @ Marietta
Ohio Northern defeated the Bears 6-3 at Marietta.  The Bears No. 3 doubles team of Ashley Fischer and Ashley O'Neill won their match in the tiebreaker 7-4. In other doubles action the pair of Jamee Boyd/Angie Schmitt lost their match-up 1-8, while Sabrina Taylor/Stephanie Days fell 2-8.  O'Neill and Fischer both won their singles match-up.  O'Neill defeated Jenna Bittner in a pro set 8-4, while Fischer won in a pro set 8-5.  Boyd fell in No. 1 singles 0-6, 0-6, while Days lost to Christie Gales 1-6, 1-6 in No. 2 singles.  Angie Schmitt fell in No. 3 action 1-6, 0-6, while Taylor retired in her match-up due to injury. 
 
April 9 @ Marietta
Shawnee State defeated Marietta 8-1 in non-conference action.  The Bears swept through doubles action, winning all three matches. Jamee Boyd and Angie Schmitt won No. 1 doubles 8-5.  Sabrina Taylor and Stephanie Days won No. 2 doubles 8-3, while Ashley Fischer and Ashley O'Neill won No. 3 doubles 8-0.  In singles action, Jamee Boyd defeated Lauren McKeirnan in the tiebreaker 10-2.  Boyd lost the first match 6-2, but came back winning the second match 6-2, sending the match into a tiebreaker.  In No. 2 action, Stephanie Days defeated Caitlin Cornell by scores of 6-2 and 6-3, while Angie Schmitt defeated Corin Bonnett 6-2, 6-0 in No. 3 singles.  Rounding out the Bears scoring, Ashley O'Neill defeated Mackenzie Boyles 6-2, 6-3 in No. 5 singles and Ashley Fischer defeated Sarah Snow 7-5, 6-3 in No. 6 singles.
 
March 27 vs. Roberts Wesleyan
Shawnee State fell 5-4 to Roberts Wesleyan.  The SSU team of Ashley Fischer and Ashley Schmitt won No. 3 doubles as they defeated RWC's Samantha Monaghan and Morgan Monaghan by a score of 8-5.  Jamee Boyd and Sabrina Taylor fell in No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-2 and Ashley Schmitt and Stephanie Days fells in No. 2 doubles 8-5.  In singles action Sabrina Taylor won No. 4 singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-1, while Ashley O'Neill won No. 5 singles 6-2 and 7-5.  Ashley Fischer rounded out the Bears scoring as she won No. 6 singles 6-2 and 6-2.   
 
March 20 vs. Carlow
Shawnee State defeated Carlow 9-0 in conference action this morning at the Dr. William E. Daehler Tennis Center.  Sabrina Taylor and Jamee Boyd won No. doubles by a score of 8-1.  The teams of Ashley Fischer/Ashley O'Neill and Stephanie Days/Angeline Schmitt won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles by a score of 8-0.  In singles action, Jamee Boyd defeated Carlow's No. 1 Carly Burns 6-0, 6-1, while Stephanie Days defeated Camille Scarella 6-0, 6-1 in No. 2 singles.  Sabrina Taylor defeated Katie Berezniak by scores of 6-2, 6-2.  Ashley O'Neill, Ashley Fischer, and O'Brien Robbins blanked their opponents by scores of 6-0, 6-0. 
 
March 19 vs. Ursuline

Shawnee State opened conference action today as they defeated Ursuline 6-3 at the Dr. William E. Daehler Tennis Center.  The SSU teams of Ashley O'Neill/Ashley Fischer and Stephanie Days/Angeline Schmitt won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.  Jamee Boyd defeated Ursuline's Megan McCartney in No. 1 singles action by scores of 6-1, 6-1.  In No. 3 singles, Stephanie Days defeated Betsy Edwards 6-1, 6-4, while Ashley Fischer defeated Eugenia Bermudez by scores of 6-0, 6-1 in No. 5 singles and Sabrina Taylor won No. 6 singles by forfeit.

 
March 17 @ Muskingum
 
 
 
March 12 vs. Wilmington
Shawnee State Women's Tennis team won their first match of the season against Wilmington with a score of 5-4 on Friday March 12.  In doubles play, Shawnee's Ashley O'Neill and Ashley Fischer defeated Wilmington's Cane and Higgins with a score of 8-3.

In the singles category, Shawnee's Jamee Boyd defeated Granstrom with a score of 6-1 and 7-5.  Sabrina Taylor defeated Rebier with a score of 6-3 and 6-4.  O'Neill defeated Higgins with a score of 6-1 and 6-3.  Fischer also defeated Brady 6-4 and 6-4.

Shawnee's next match will be at Muskingum March 17 at 3:00 p.m.
