Shawnee State
fell to Walsh 9-0. The closest match of the day was #4 singles as
Jamee Boyd fell 6-4, 6-4 to Laura Meilee.

|
The Bears
lost to Malone in conference play by a score of 3-6. Jamee
Boyd and Teal Rausch were the only Bears to win in singles play.
The two also teamed up to defeated Madison DeWoend and Lauren
Armbrust in doubles action. |

April 8 vs. Central State |
|
In the first match on the new Dr.
William E. Daehler Tennis Center, the Shawnee State Tennis
Team defeated Central State 9-0 and 6-0 in a double-header. The Bears won
the first match 9-0 and Veronica Lerch led the way as she
won #1 singles by a score of 8-2. Jennifer Henry won the #2
singles match 8-0, while Sabrina Taylor won #3 singles 8-2.
In other singles play Jamee Boyd won 8-0, Teal Rausch got an
8-3 win, and Megan Eubanks pulled out a 9-7 for the Bears. In doubles
action, the pair of Lerch and Henry won 8-0, Taylor and
Rausch teamed up to win 9-7, and Jamee Boyd and Megan
Eubanks got an 8-2 win. In the second
singles match-up, the Bears won 6-0. Lerch won in #1
singles play 8-4, while Henry won the #2 match-up 8-3.
Taylor got the 8-0 victory, Boyd had an 8-2 win, Rausch won
8-1 and Eubanks won her singles match-up 8-2.

|
Shawnee State closed out the trip with a 8-1 conference win
over Carlow. Veronica Lerch, Jennifer Henry, Sabrina
Taylor, Jamee Boyd, and Megan Eubanks all got singles wins.
The doubles pairs of Veronica Lerch/Jennifer Henry and
Sabrina Taylor/ Jamee Boyd both won 8-1, while Teal
Rausch/Megan Eubanks go the 8-2 win.

|
Shawnee State opened conference action up on Friday with a
7-2 loss to Roberts Wesleyan. Jamee Boyd was SSU's
only singles winner as she defeated Steph Jones 4-6, 7-7,
7-4. Veronica Lerch and Jennifer Henry won doubles 8-5
over Meg Wheeler and Alicia Jones.

|
The Bears defeated Muskingum College 7-2. Veronica
Lerch won #1 singles 8-5. Jamee Boyd won #4 singles by
a score of 8-0. Sabrina Taylor and Teal Rausch also
won singles 8-2. SSU swept the doubles play.
Veronica Lerch and Jennifer Henry defeated Nicole Meyer and
Molly Hoover 8-1. Sabrina Taylor and Jamee Boyd won
8-4 over Caroline Giammarto and Amanda Chema. Megan
Eubanks and Teal Rausch defeated MC's Sarah Fraley and Laura
Gibson 8-5.

Shawnee State Tennis Team fell in a close one to
Marietta. Sabrina Taylor, Jamee
Boyd, Teal Rausch were all victorious in singles.
Taylor won her match 3-6, 6-3, 6-1, Boyd won 6-4, 6-2, while
Rausch got the win with scores of 6-3, 6-0. Sabrina
Taylor and Jamee Boyd also won their doubles match by a
score of 8-3. |

to win #1 doubles, and Jennifer Henry and Sabrina Taylor won #2
