April 17 @ Ohio Dominican

Shawnee State lost 9-0 at Ohio Dominican University.  They won just four games in 12 sets of singles play.  The closest match of the day was #2 doubles.  Sabrina Taylor and Teal Rausch lost to Katie Evans and Katie Rodgers 8-3.  [Results]

 
April 14 @ Walsh

Shawnee State lost 9-0 at Walsh University.  Shawnee State's Veronica Lerch and Jennifer Henry lost #1 doubles 8-1.  Teal Rausch and Sabrina Taylor lost #2 doubles by the same score.  The Bears won a total of just 7 games in the five singles matches.  Number 3 doubles and #6 singles matches were not played.  [Results]

 
April 8 vs. Cedarville

Shawnee State lost to Cedarville University 9-0.  Veronica Lerch lost #1 singles to Alisa Rutt 6-1, 6-3.  Joy Kellog defeated Jennifer Henry 6-0, 6-0 in #2 singles.  Sabrina Taylor played the closest match of the day as she lost to Melinda Workman 6-1, 7-5.  Georgiann McClure defeated Teal Rausch 6-2, 6-0 in #4 singles.  Casey Smith lost #5 singles 6-3, 6-0.  Angel Noland lost #6 singles 6-1, 6-2.  Shawnee State managed to win just four games in three doubles matches.  [Results]

 
March 29 vs. Carlow

Shawnee State rebounded from its first loss of the season with an 8-1 win over Carlow College.  Shawnee State picked up singles wins from Veronica Lerch, Jennifer Henry, Sabrina Taylor, and Teal Rausch.  Casey Smith won her match by default.  Veronica Lerch and Jessica Waugh won #1 doubles.  Casey Smith and Teal Rausch won #2 doubles.  The Bears won #3 doubles by default.  [Results]

 
March 28 vs. Roberts Wesleyan
Shawnee State opened American Mideast Conference play with a 5-4 loss to Roberts Wesleyan College.  Veronica Lerch and Jessica Waugh teamed up to win #1 doubles.  Lerch, Jennifer Henry, and Teal Rausch won singles matches for the Bears.  [Results]
 
March 13 @ Capital

Shawnee State picked up a 5-4 win at Capital University to improve to 5-0 on the season.  The Bears are off to their best start in school history.  Shawnee State held a 2-1 lead at the conclusion of doubles play.  Veronica Lerch and Jessica Waugh teamed to win #1 doubles.  Teal Rausch and Casey Smith won #3 doubles.  Shawnee State had singles wins from Waugh, Smith, and Rausch.

 
March 12 @ Muskingum

Shawnee State remained perfect on the season with a 9-0 win over Muskingum College.  Over the course of four matches, Shawnee State is 24-0 in singles play and 12-0 in doubles action.  Veronica Lerch won her 14th career singles match to tie Becky Holden's school record.  Jessica Waugh, Sabrina Taylor, Jennifer Henry, Teal Rausch, and Angel Noland also won singles matches for the Bears.  Lerch and Waugh teamed up to win #1 doubles.  Taylor and Henry won #2 doubles.  Rausch and Noland won #3 doubles. 

 
March 10 @ West Virginia Tech
Shawnee State remained perfect on the year with a 9-0 win over West Virginia Tech.  Veronica Lerch won number one singles and moved to within one of Becky Holden's all-time record of 14 career wins.  Jessica Waugh, Sabrina Taylor, Jennifer Henry, Teal Rausch, and Casey Smith won singles matches.  Lerch and Waugh won number one doubles giving them a school-record seven doubles wins.  Taylor and Henry won number two doubles.  Casey Smith and Teal Rausch won number three doubles.
 
March 6 vs. Central State
Shawnee State swept a double-header over Central State University by scores of 9-0 and 9-0.  Veronica Lerch, Jessica Waugh, Teal Rausch, and Casey Smith each won a pair of singles matches.  Sabrina Taylor, Jennifer Henry, Beth Eichelberger, and Angel Noland each won a singles match.  Veronic Lerch and Jessica Waugh won a doubles match to tie Becky Holden and Amanda Holbrook's school-record 6 doubles wins.
