April 22 @ Tiffin
Shawnee State lost to Tiffin 9-0.  The Bears threatened in just two of the 9 matches.  Veronica Lerch lost #1 singles 6-2, 7-5.  Megan Spencer lost #4 singles 7-5, 6-4. 
 
April 21 vs. Malone
Shawnee State lost to Malone by a score of 8-1.  Veronica Lerch defeated Malone's Cami Urdea in #1 singles 8-5 to give the Bears their only individual win of the weekend.  Megan Spencer's 8-5 loss to Jackie Quilter in #4 singles was Shawnee State's best chance to pick up another win. 
 
April 18 vs. Cedarville

Shawnee State lost to Cedarville 9-0.  The closest match of the day came in #1 singles.  Cedarville's Jodi Kraker defeated Veronica Lerch 6-1, 6-2 (14-12). Megan Spencer lost #3 singles to Melinda Workman 6-4, 6-4.

 
April 15 vs. Ohio Dominican

Ohio Dominican University defeated Shawnee State 9-0.  The Panthers had little trouble as the Bears took only two games in 3 doubles matches.  The most competitive match of day came in #4 singles.  ODU's Emily Sampsel defeated Megan Spencer 6-3, 6-4.  Shawnee State managed to win just 12 games in the six singles matches.

 
April 14 vs. Central State

Shawnee State took a pair of matches from Central State University.  Shawnee State blanked Central State 9-0 in the opener.  The Bears led 6-0 in the second match before it was called due to darkness.  The doubles teams of Veronica Lerch and Amy Richardson; Jennifer Henry and Andrea Rader; and Ashley Fender and Beth Eichelberger all won their matches in the opener.  Elizabeth Schultz, Megan Spencer, Jennifer Henry, Andrea Rader, Ashley Fender and Beth Eichelberger all won singles matches.  Veronica Lerch, Amy Richardson, Megan Spencer, Jennifer Henry, Andrea Rader, and Ashley Fender all won singles matches in the night-cap.  The doubles matches were not played.

 
April 13 @ Wilmington
Wilmington defeated Shawnee State 7-2 on Thursday afternoon.  Andrea Rader won #6 singles 6-4, 6-7, and 10-7 in the tiebreaker, for Shawnee State.  Veronica Lerch and Amy Richardson won the #1 doubles 9-8 (7-5 tiebreaker). 
 
April 9 @ Marietta
Marietta defeated Shawnee State 7-2 on Sunday afternoon.  Megan Spencer won #4 singles 6-2, 6-3 for Shawnee State.  Andrea Rader won #6 singles 6-1, 6-2.  Rader and Jennifer Henry had a chance to win #3 doubles but lost 9-8 (7-5 tiebreaker).
 
April 8 @ Walsh
Shawnee State opened AMC play with a 9-0 loss to Walsh University.  Shawnee State won just 11 games in nine matches.  The closest match of the day was #1 doubles.  Amy Richardson and Veronica Lerch lost by a score of 8-3.
 
April 4 @ Central State
Shawnee State opened the 2006 season with a 9-0 blanking of Central State University.  Veronica Lerch, Amy Richardson, Elizabeth Schultz, Megan Spencer, Jennifer Henry, and Andrea Rader all won their singles matches.  Richardson and Lerch combined to win #1 doubles.  Spencer and Schultz won #2 doubles.  Henry and Rader completed the sweep playing #3 doubles.
