May 3 vs. Cedarville (@ NAIA Region IX Tournament)
Shawnee State fell to Cedarville University in the opening round of the NAIA Region IX Tournament 8-1.  Becky Holden was the lone Bear to win a match as she defeated Jen Roman 2-6, 7-6, 6-1.  The match was much closer than the final score indicates.  All of the doubles matches were within reach.  Cedarville prevailed by scores of 8-5, 9-8, and 9-7.  
 
April 28 vs. Kentucky Christian
Shawnee State defeated Kentucky Christian College to close out the regular season by a score of 7 matches to 2.  Becky Holden, Heather Van Pelt, Doris Staler, Stephanie Born, and Andria Smalley all won singles matches for Shawnee State.  The doubles teams of Holden/Staler and Smalley/McManus were also victorious.
 
April 24 @ Cedarville
Cedarville University swept Shawnee State University 9 matches to 0.  Shawnee State was close in several sets, but never threatened to win a match.
 
April 21 @ Geneva
Shawnee State defeated Geneva College 7 matches to 2.  Cara Dobbins, Becky Holden, Heather Van Pelt, Doris Staler, and Andria Smalley each won singles matches.  The doubles teams of Amanda Holbrook/Heather Van Pelt and Doris Staler/Courtney McManus were also victorious.
 
April 20 @ Seton Hill
Shawnee State defeated Seton Hill College 8 matches 1.  Amanda Holbrook, Becky Holden, Heather Van Pelt, Stephanie Born, and Andria Smalley all won singles matches.  Shawnee State swept the doubles matches as the teams of Cara Dobbins/Becky Holden; Amanda Holbrook/Heather Van Pelt; and Doris Staler/ Coutrney McManus all were victorious.
 
April 6 @ Malone
Shawnee State lost to Malone College 5 matches to 4.  Becky Holden and Doris Staler each won their singles matches.  Heather Van Pelt and Amanda Holbrook teamed up to win #2 doubles.  Doris Staler and Courtney McManis won #3 doubles for the Bears.
 
April 6 @ Walsh
Shawnee State was clearly over powered as they lost to six time defending AMC Champ, Walsh University.  Shawnee State failed to win a set in the 9-0 defeat.
 
April 1 vs. Notre Dame
Shawnee State defeated Notre Dame College 8 matches to 1 to win their second consecutive AMC match.  Doubles teams of Cara Dobbins and Becky Holden; Amanda Holbrook and Heather Van Pelt; and Doris Staler and Courtney McManis were victorious on the day.  Becky Holden, Heather Van Pelt, Doris Staler, Stephanie Born, and Courtney McManis won singles matches.
 
March 30 vs. Tiffin
Shawnee State opened their 2001 campaign by defeating Tiffin University 8-1.  Cara Dobbins, Becky Holden, Heather Van Pelt, Doris Staler, and Jessica Cooper all won singles matches.  Cara Dobbins and Becky Holden, Amanda Holbrook and Heather Van Pelt, and Doris Staler and Courtney McManis won doubles matches.
