Coach's
Comments -- "AJ is a
returning captain whose junior season came to an end
in the during the fifth game of the year. She has
worked extremely hard the past 9 months to come back
from that season ending injury. AJ brings
tremendous senior leadership to the team."
2007 Season -- Amanda started
in 15 games for the Bears. She tallied a
career-high 2 goals and 1 assist in the Bears 9-0
win over Kentucky Christian on October 16.
Amanda earned Honorable Mention All-AMC recognition.
2006 Season --
Amanda played in only 5
games and was sidelined due to injury. She tallied
2 assists on the season.
2005 Season --
Amanda played in only
12 games and was sidelined because of injury. She
only took 3 shots from her defensive position and
recorded one assist.
2004 Season --
Amanda played in all but
one game as a freshman. She took six shots and
tallied one goal from her defensive position.
Wayne
High School --
Jay was a three-time all-conference selection. She
helped lead Wayne to 10-5-4 record and an appearance
in the district semi-finals her senior season. She
was twice named the Wayne High Defensive Player of
the Year. She earned all-area honors as a senior.
