Coach's Comments -- "Sam comes from a strong soccer program and I look for solid numbers out of her in the upcoming season. Sam is the type of player that can make an impact right away."

2006 Season -- Sam started in goal all 17 games as a freshman. She broke the record with wins in a season with eight and shut-outs in a season with six. She recorded a career-high 25 saves in the Bears 3-1 loss to Ohio Dominican on October 14. She earned honorable mention All-AMC honors.

Turpin High School -- Sam lettered 3 times in soccer at Turpin High School. She earned 1st team All-FAVC honors.
