the season with a 2-0 win over Berea College and needs just one
more win to guarantee its first winning season in school history.
Shawnee State's first goal came from Sarah Koehler at 22:43.
It was her 22nd of the season. Koehler assisted Lana Kaucher's
goal at 31:06. The assists was the 11th of the season for
Koehler and sets a Shawnee State record for assists in a a season.

Shawnee State snapped a two-game losing skid with a 10-0 whipping of
Pikeville College. Shawnee
State's Sarah Koehler scored her first of three goals in the game's
10th minute on an assist from Lacie Abella. Senior sweeper
Amanda Plotts scored the first goal of her career on an assist from
Kelly Hatas just two minutes later. Hatas would add two more
assists and a goal in the contest. Savoeung Ien added a pair
goals as well. Sam Rolsen worked the entire game in goal to

Shawnee State lost
to Ohio Dominican 3-1. Shawnee State took an early lead when
Kelly Hatas scored a goal on an assist from Sarah Koehler just two
minutes into the game. Ohio Dominican tied the game when Morgan
Gatwood scored unassisted in the 53rd minute of play.
ODU took the lead at the 84:13 mark of the game on a goal by Briana
Coddington. Coddington scored on an assist from Morgan Gatwood.
ODU’s Barb Mansfield scored again in the 85th minute of
play to give Ohio Dominican the 3-1 win. Ohio Dominican out
shot Shawnee State 46-6 in the game. SSU’s Sam Rolsen had a

5-1 at Valley High School. Shawnee State held a 3-1 lead
at the half thanks to three goals in a 10 minute span.
Sarah Koehler scored 2 of the goals and assisted on a goal by
Staci White. Lacy Simpson scored just 32 seconds into the
second half on an assist from White. Koehler added her 3rd
goal of the match on an assist from Simpson at 49:41. Sam
Rolsen recorded 3 saves in the contest. Beth Hofaman
scored an unassisted goal in the 36th minute for Rio Grande's
only score.

and assists in a game with 4. She also broke the record for
points in a game with 14. Lana Kaucher also had an impressive
game scoring 4 goals with 1 assist, while Courtney Moore scored
2 goals and tallied 2 assists. Kristi Jarrell and Staci White
each had a goal. Amy Crain, Ashley Fender, Amanda Jay each
tallied an assist in the game. The Bears out shot
Pikeville 57-0 in the game. Pikeville’s Amber Webb had 17 saves

Lana Kaucher scored the first goal of the game at 1:34 in the first
half. Courtney Moore score the second goal of the half for the
Bears at 16:19. Brescia's only goal of the first half came on
a direct kick by McKenzie Stone at 19:08. Shawnee State's Sarah
Koehler scored just 39 seconds into the second period and again at
the 63:10 mark to put the Bears up 4-1. Brescia would score
again on a penalty kick by Chelsea Anderson to tally the final score
at 4-2. Shawnee State out shot Brescia 24-17 in the game. SSU's
Sam Rolsen (2-0) recorded 11 saves. Brescia's Sarah Poole
recorded 9 saves in the match.
