Coach's
Comments -- "Amanda will be a junior captain this
year that will bring a lot of knowledge to the
defensive side of the ball. After fighting of
injuries her first two seasons, the most important
thing is keeping her healthy. We are a better
team when Amanda is on the field." 2006 Season

Amanda played in all but
one game as a freshman. She took six shots and
tallied one goal from her defensive position.
Wayne High School --
Jay
was a three-time all-conference selection. She helped lead Wayne to
10-5-4 record and an appearance in the district semi-finals
her senior season. She
was twice named the Wayne High Defensive Player of the Year.
She earned all-area honors as a senior.
