October 30 @ Cedarville
Shawnee State lost a 1-0 decision in overtime to Cedarville University.  The winning goal came on a penalty kick just three minutes into the extra period.  Jessica Votaw recorded 13 saves in the match.
 
October 27 @ Tiffin
Shawnee State fell to defending AMC Champs, Tiffin University, by a score of 3-0.  The Bears managed just 5 shots compared to Tiffin's 36.  Jessica Votaw recorded 27 saves in the match.
 
October 23 vs. Mt. Vernon
Shawnee State lost a 3-1 decision to Mt. Vernon Nazarene College.  The Bears' lone goal came from Laura Schulz on an assist from Mandy Duncan.  Jessica Votaw recorded 9 saves in the match.
 
October 20 @ Carlow
Mandy Duncan scored 3 goals in Shawnee State's 4-2 victory over Carlow College.  Laura Schulz assisted on two of the goals and Amie Greene assisted on the other.  Sarah Pierson scored on a rebound shot.  The goal was her first of the season.  Jessica Votaw recorded 15 saves in the victory.
 
October 19 @ Geneva
Shawnee State dropped a 3-0 decision to Geneva College.  Geneva out shot SSU 22-14 in the match.  Jessica Votaw had 15 saves in the loss.
 
October 13 vs. Ursuline
Shawnee State kept up the strong defense on Saturday as they defeated Ursuline College by a score of 3-1.  The Bears had goals from Mandy Duncan, Marseille Markham, and Laura Schulz.  Jessica Votaw recorded 8 saves.
 
October 12 vs. Roberts Wesleyan
The Bears defeated Roberts Wesleyan College by a score of 1-0 in two overtimes.  Laura Schulz scored the game's lone goal with 13:30 remaining on the clock in the second overtime period. The goal was her second game-winner of the season.  Jessica Votaw recorded 11 saves in her 4th shutout of the season.
 
October 6 vs. Walsh
Shawnee State managed just 13 shots versus 28 by Walsh as they dropped the 3-1 decision.  Jessica Votaw recorded 12 saves, including a penalty kick, in the loss.
 
October 2 vs. Urbana
Shawnee State dropped a 1-0 decision to Urbana University.  Urbana out shot Shawnee State 19-11 in the match.  Jessica Votaw records 11 saves in the defeat.  
 
September 29 @ St. Vincent
Shawnee State lost an overtime decision to St. Vincent College by a score of 2-1.  Mandy Duncan scored her 3rd goal of the season on an assist from Sarah Bryant.  Jessica Votaw recorded 5 saves including an penalty kick.
 
September 25 @ Ohio Dominican
Shawnee State dropped a 3-1 decision to Ohio Dominican.  The Bears' goal came from Jessica Burkhart on an assist from Laura Schulz  with five minutes remaining in the game to avoid the shutout.  Jessica Votaw  recorded 15 saves in goal. 
 
September 22 vs. Seton Hill
The Shawnee State University Women’s Soccer Team lost a 3-1 decision to Seton Hill College on Saturday afternoon.  The loss drops the Bears to 4-4 (1-4 AMC) on the season.  Seton Hill improves to 3-2-1(3-1-1AMC).  Seton Hill out shot SSU 25-13.  The Bears’ lone goal came off a corner kick from Laura Schulz.  Brandy Dewar knocked in her second goal of the season.  The assist was Schulz’s 5th of the season. 
 
September 15 @ Daemen
Shawnee State picked up their first AMC win of the season as they defeated Daemen College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.  SSU's lone goal came from Laura Schulz in the game's 88th minute of play.  Jessica Votaw recorded 18 saves to pick up her 3rd shut out of the season.
 
September 14 @ Houghton
Shawnee State fell to Houghton College by a score of 6-0.  Houghton out shot Shawnee State 39-1 in the match.  Jessica Votaw recorded 26 saves on the day.
 
September 11 @ Kentucky Christian
Shawnee State defeated Kentucky Christian College by a score of 7-0 on Tuesday evening.  The Bears had two goals and one assist each from Marseille Markham and Laura Schulz.  Amie Greene, Sarah Bryant, and Jessica Burkhart scored one goal apiece.  Burkhart added two assists and Jenny Rudmann recorded one assist.
 
September 8 vs. Malone
Malone College drilled Shawnee State by a score of 9-0.  The Pioneers out shot SSU by an astounding 43-5 margin.  Jessica Votaw recorded 26 saves in the loss.
 
September 7 vs. Notre Dame
After scoring in the game's second minute, Shawnee State fell apart as they lost a 5-1 decision to Notre Dame College.  The Bears lone goal came from Jenny Rudmann (1) on an assist from Laura Schulz (3).  
 

September 3 @ Kentucky Christian College

Shawnee State set a school record for goals in a game as they defeated Kentucky Christian College by a score of 9-0.  Marseille Markham scored a school record 5 goals in the victory.  Laura Schulz scored her 3rd an 4th goals of the season.  Mandy Duncan and Brandy Dewar added one goal apiece.  
 
September 2 vs. Thomas More College
Shawnee State opened the 2001 season with a 3-2 victory over Thomas More College.  Laura Schulz had 2 goals and an assist while Mandy Duncan added 1 goal and 1 assist.  Jessica Votaw 5 saves as she picked up her first collegiate victory in goal.
