2008 Women's Soccer

 

FOUR BEARS EARN ALL-AMERICAN MIDEAST CONFERENCE HONORS
Four members of the Shawnee State University Women's Soccer Team earned All-American Mideast Conference recognition for the 2008 season.

Sam Rolsen earned 1st Team honors.  Rolsen, a junior goalkeeper from Cincinnati, OH recorded 137 saves.  She also broke the school record for career shutouts with 16 and career wins with 22. 

Kelley Bowles earned 2nd Team honors.  Bowles, a sophomore midfielder from Cincinnati, OH led the teams with 9 goals and 6 assists on the season.

Savoueng Ien and Danielle Morgan earned honorable mention All-American Mideast Conference recognition.  Ien, a junior defender from Columbus, OH tallied 1 assist from her defensive position.  Morgan, a freshman midfielder from Waverly, OH had 4 goals and 4 assists on the season. 

Shawnee State posted a 6-10-2 record for the 2008 season.
