2010 Season -- Kasey
continued her success for the Bears as a sophomore. She ran five
meets under 20:00 minutes. At the All-Ohio Meet at Cedarville on
October 1, Kasey ran a personal best time of 18:47. She ran a 19:51
at the Mid-South Championship to place 6th overall and earn All-MSC
honors. She was also named to the MSC All Academic Team.
2009 Season -- Kasey
had a successful freshman season. She ran seven races under 21:00
and was one of the Bear's top five runners. Her personal best time
of 19:10 came at the Aquinas Invitational on October 24. Kasey
placed 16th at the AMC Meet with a time of 19:49 to qualify for the
NAIA National Meet. At the National Meet Kasey ran a time of
20:06. Kasey earned Honorable Mention All-AMC recognition and
is the 6th fastest runner in
Shawnee State history.
Springfield Northwestern High
School -- Kasey was a state qualifier in cross country all four
year, being the first athlete in Northwestern High School to
accomplish this. She earned 1st team all-area honors all four years
and help lead her cross country team to a 7th place finish during
her junior season and 9th overall her senior season.
