2009 Season -- Brittney stepped up her
running this season and it paid off. She ran five races under
20:00 and ran a career best of 19:04 at the Friendship Invitational
at Cedarville on September 19. At the AMC Championship,
Brittney ran 19:23 to finish 13th overall and qualify for the NAIA
National Meet for the second consecutive year. She earned 2nd
Team All-AMC recognition. At the NAIA Meet she ran a time of
20:51. Brittney ranks 5th as Shawnee State fastest runners in
history.
2008 Season -- Brittney had a
successful freshman season. She ran six races under 21:00 and was one
of the Bear's top five runners for 2008. Her best time of the season
(19:37) came at the Ohio Invitational on September 27. Brittney also
became one of eight Shawnee State Women's Cross Country runners to
make a National Championship Appearance.
Sheridan High School -- Brittney earned three
varsity letters in cross country at Sheridan High School. She
finished 25th at the Division II Regional in 2007 with a time of
20:59. She also earned all-league recognition three times and was a
three time regional qualifier.
