2009 Season -- Tisha had a successful freshman
season for the Bears. Her fastest time of the year (19:25)
came at the Shawnee State Invitational on September 4. Tisha
ran a time of 19:49 at the AMC Championship to place 17th overall
and qualify for the NAIA National Meet. At the NAIA Meet she
ran a time of 20:06. Tisha earned Honorable Mention All-AMC
status. She ranks 8th as SSU's all-time fastest runners.
Logan High School -- Tisha was named
Runner of the Year twice at Logan High School. She was named
all-league, all-district, and all-academic all four years in cross
country. In track, Tisha set the school record for the 3200
meter run and was named Outstanding Junior Female Athlete of the
Year.
