2009 Season -- Sara started out strong this
season, but then was sidelined due to injury. She ran a career
best 18:49 at the Shawnee State Invitational. Sara is the 4th
fastest runner in SSU history.
2008 Season -- Sara had a
successful freshman season. She was consistently one of the Bear's
top five runners finishing 4 races under 21:00. She ran her best
time of the season and her personal best time of 19:30 at the NAIA
National Championship Meet on November 22 and became one of eight
Shawnee State Women's Cross Country runners to make a National
Championship Appearance.
Emmanuel Baptist High School -- Sara lettered
four years in cross country and track at Emmanuel Baptist High
School. She was a three-time TAAC Conference Champion.
