November 22 @ NAIA National Championship
The women's team finished 13th out of 32 teams in their
first appearance
at the NAIA National Championship.
Lisa Davies paced the Bears as she finished 17th overall in
a time of 17:54, earning her All-American honors for the
second time. Star Emmert finished 27th overall in a
time of 18:05, earning All-American recognition for her
second time.
Amanda Porter recorded a time of 19:00, while Sara Armstrong
finished in a time of 19:30. Brittney LiPira rounded
out the scoring for the Bears as she finished with a time of

November 8 @ AMC Championship |
|
NAIA No. 16 ranked Shawnee State Women's Cross Country Team
finished 3rd with 86 points behind NAIA No. 1 ranked Cedarville
which won the event with 31 points beating out No. 5 ranked
Malone which finished with 49 points at the AMC Championship .
Lisa Davies paced the Bears with a 2nd overall finish in a time
of 19:04 to earn 1st Team All-AMC recognition. Star Emmert
finished 9th overall in a time of 19:29, to earn 2nd Team All-AMC
honors. Amanda Porter covered the 5K course in 20:05 to
place 16th overall and earn Honorable Mention All-AMC.
Rounding out the scoring for the Bears was Brittney LiPira who
finished the course in 21:01 and Sara Armstrong who finished in
a time of 21:31. [Results] |

October 10 @ 54th All-Ohio Championship |
|
Shawnee State, which is ranked
15th in the NAIA, finished 13th out of 41 teams with a total
score of 422. Cedarville won the event with a score of 74.
Star Emmert led the Bears as she placed 28th overall in a
time of 19:06, followed by Lisa Davies who place 32nd in a
time of 19:11. Amanda Porter ran the 5k course in 19:59.
Brittney LiPira and Sara Armstrong rounded out the scoring
as they finished the course in 20:50 and 21:09 respectively.

September 27 @ Ohio Invitational |
|
Seventeenth ranked Shawnee State placed 3rd out
of 4 teams at the Ohio University Invitational. Shawnee
State competition included NCAA Div. I Meet Champion University
of Cincinnati, Ohio University, and Cleveland State University.
Lisa Davies led the Bears as she placed 4th overall and ran a
school-record 17:53. Star Emmert placed 6th and ran a
career-best 18:02. Amanda Porter finished 11th as she
recorded a time of 18:45. Birttney LiPira finished the 5k course
in 19:37 and Sara Armstrong recorded a time of 20:22 to round
out the scoring for the Bears.

September 20 @ Friendship Invitational |
|
Shawnee State finished 1st out of
18 teams to capture the meet title. Lisa Davies won
the event, followed closely by Star Emmert. Davies and
Emmert each ran the 5K course in 18:26. Amanda Porter
finished 4th for the Bears with a time of 19:12. Sara
Armstrong finished the course in 20:09 to finish 18th, while
Brittney LiPira ran 20:13 to finish 19th and round out the

September 5 @ Shawnee State Invitational |
|
Shawnee State Women’s Cross Country Team finished 2nd
out of 9 teams at the Shawnee State Invitational. NAIA #1
ranked Cedarville took first place with 20 points. SSU
finished with 41 points ahead of Charleston University who
finished with 116 points. Lisa Davies won the event in
a course-record and school-record of 18:06. Star Emmert
placed 7th for the Bears with a time of 18:49.
Amanda Porter ran the course in 19:27 to finished 8th.
Brittany LiPira (20:14) placed 11th and Sara
Armstrong (20:53) placed 14th to round out the
scoring for Shawnee State. [Complete
