| 2008 Season -- Lisa earned NAIA All-American
honors for the second time in her career finishing 17th at the NAIA
National Championship Meet with a time of 17:54. Lisa made her 3rd
appearance at the National Championship Meet and is one of eight
Shawnee State Women's Cross Country runners to make a National
Championship Appearance. Lisa's times
dominate SSU's Top 25 All-Time Times as she also broke her
own school record with a time of 17:53 to be SSU's fastest runner in
school history. She had 4 top 10 finishes, including two 1st
places finishes, and was named 1st Team All-AMC and a 2008 Scholar
Athlete.
2007 Season --
Lisa had the most successful season ever for a Shawnee State Cross
Country runner. In 9 races, she never ran slower than 18:51.
All 9 of her recorded times landed on the Bears' Top 25 list. She had 7 top 10 finishes, including four 1st place finishes. She finished 5th and set a school record with the time of 18:11 at
the American Mideast Conference Championship and was named 1st Team
All-AMC. She placed 19th at the NAIA National Championship
Meet and become the second Bear to be named All-American.
2006 Season --
Lisa had a successful first season at Shawnee State. She had
three top ten finishes, including a 2nd place finish at the
Shawnee State Invitation. Lisa placed 14th at the American Mideast Conference meet and place 76th at the NAIA National
Championship Meet. Her career best came at the Greater
Louisville Classic when she ran a 19:12.
West Branch High School -- Lisa
helped lead West Branch's track team to four NBC Conference
Championships during her high school career. She was
State Champion in track in the 3200 meter run her senior
year and Runner-Up State Champion her freshman year. |
