Coach's Comments -- "It is destiny that Missy is a Shawnee State Bear. Missy had a good high school running career but I feel has never come close to realizing her full potential as a runner. Missy will come to our team as a freshman and immediately contribute. The sky is the limit as to what she can do. Missy is a very hard worker and also very talented. She is a huge pick up for us."

2006 Season -- Missy had a successful freshman season. Missy consistently ran in the top five for the Bears as a freshman in 2006. Her best time of the season came at the American Mideast Conference Championship where she finished in 20:01.

Northwest High School -- Missy was a four-year letter winner in cross country at Northwest High School. During her career she earned all-district honors and was SOC Champion.
