"Kayla is one of he most talented athletes on
either cross country team. Kayla probably has more speed than
any runner on the women's team. After she adjusts to college
training in the early part of this season, she could have a great
year."
2006 Season --
Kayla had a good freshman season. Her best time of the year
(21:12) came at the American Mideast Conference Championship on
November 4.
Sugar Grove High School -- Kayla
was a two-year letter winner in cross country. She earned 1st
Team All-Mid State League her junior and senior years and regional
qualifier both years. Kayla also was a state qualifier in
track in the 800 meter run her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
