Coach's Comments -- "Star was our first Cross Country All-American at Shawnee State.  In addition to talent, work ethic and a great attitude, Star's greatest contribution to our team is her leadership skills, which are invaluable. I would be very surprised if Star was not an All-American again this year."

2006 Season -- Star had another successful season at Shawnee State.  She had 4 top 10 finishes including 1st place finishes at the Shawnee State Invitational and the Green and White Invite.  All 8 of her recorded times landed on the Bears' Top 25 list.  She finished 10th at the American Mideast Conference Championship and qualified for the NAIA National Championship Meet for the third straight year.  She finished 32nd at the NAIA National Championship Meet in a time of 18:41.

2005 Season -- Star had the most successful season ever for a Shawnee State Cross Country runner.  In 10 races, she never ran slower than 19:50.  All 10 of her recorded times landed on the Bears' Top 25 list.  She recorded the five fastest times ever recorded for a Shawnee State runner.  She had 7 top 10 finishes including a 3rd place finish at the American Mideast Conference Championship and was named 1st Team All-AMC.  She set the school record with a time of 18:13 at the NAIA National Championship Meet.  She placed 20th overall to become the school's first All-American.

2004 Season -- Star had an outstanding freshman season.  She had 3 top ten finishes on the year and led the squad in 2 meets.  She placed 6 times on the Bears' Top 25 All-Time Fastest list.  She became just the second female Bear to compete in the NAIA National Championship Meet thanks to a 13th place finish at the AMC/NAIA Region IX Championship Meet.  She earned 2nd Team All-AMC honors.

Jackson High School -- Star was an All- District runner for 4 years and a regional qualifier her freshman, sophomore and junior years.  She battled an ankle injury during her senior season.  She has recorded a personal best time of 21:11.
