"Amber is a very dedicated hard working runner. She should adjust
very nicely to college running and I expect her to challenge for a
top 5 spot on the squad."
2005 Season -- Amber had a good freshman season. After a
bit of a slow start, she ran in the Bears' top five in four of the
last five meets. Her best time of the year (20:54) came at the
Southeastern Classic on October 22.
Northwestern High School -- Amber
helped lead Northwestern High School to three consecutive Central
Buckeye Conference Championships and a Clark County Championship
in 2003. Amber was a four-time all county honoree and
three-time all-conference honoree. She qualified for the
Regional Championship Meet on three occasions. She also earned
Academic All-State honors in 2003.
